Christian: "HURRY MAMA, I need brush my teeth!!"
Me: "What, why? You haven't eaten dinner yet. We will brush them after dinner."
C: "No, hurry! My teeth will fall out!!! HURRY, HURRY!"
HAHAHA, can you tell I recently urged him to let me brush his teeth by telling him his teeth will fall out if he refuses to brush?
Maybe I should clarify that statement a bit....

A few quick pics.....
Camden said he was "Ho (so) hot", so Bre did this for him!

Christian loves being an "Animuh Weh-kew-ur" (Animal Rescuer!) like Diego. He was taking care of little baby jaguar in this picture :)

These are a few from before we went to Elise's ball Friday night!

Typical...

This was as good as it got! This is why most of my pictures of them are "action" shots...

We had fun at Elise's ball- you were so pretty in your white dress, Elise! & Emm, you were beautiful in your pink dress, too!

Happy Father's Day!
Happy Father's Day to all the dads out there! A special Happy Father's Day & THANK YOU to my wonderful Dad! Thank you so much for overlooking my flaws and loving me for me! I wouldn't be where I am today if it weren't for everything you've done. Thank you for all of the things that you do that go unmentioned or without a "thank you", and also for the gift of me just knowing that you would do anything for me at any time, no matter what. I could not ask for a better Dad, or Popo that hung the moon for my kids!
I LOVE YOU!!! Enjoy your day!!
Another special HAPPY FATHER'S DAY to Scott (if he reads this, he usually doesn't). Thank you for being such a great provider and dad for our kids!! We love you!!

Unconditional Love
Over a decade and a half ago my dad stopped on the way to my soccer game and bought me a puppy from Petland. I named him Oliver because "Oliver and Company" was the big new movie that had just come out. Oliver went everywhere my brother and I did. He camped out with us, chased us on the wheeler, and let me dress him in ridiculous clothing. Oliver brought more joy and smiles to me than I could ever count. Sure, I grew up and grew out of "playing", but I never grew out of loving that dog! Today we had to let him go. My dad and I pet/loved on him until he fell peacefully asleep.

"It is better to have loved and lost than to have never loved at all." Thanks Dad for reminding me of that.... thank you for brightening my life by buying me that sweet little puppy from Petland...and thank you Mom for not killing us when we brought him home...or when he chewed up all of your new azaleas.
I wrote this awhile back when I was writing what I was thankful for, and it certainly will always remain true:
Animals do not judge. They do not care if you are black or white, fat or skinny, liked or disliked by most, a trash-man or a highly-paid executive. They don't care what your hair looks like or what clothes you wear. They don't care if you wake them up in the middle of their nap- in fact, they react with enthusiasm to see you. Their love is UNCONDITIONAL. It is an actual medical fact that animals lower our blood pressure and reduce our anxiety, while boosting our immunity. We should all STRIVE to be more like them.
I love you Oliver, thank you for all the love & joy you brought to my life!!

Lo Siento!! (I'm Sorry!)
Ok if you get this twice I'm sorry- I accidently posted it to my old blog and just now noticed. Sorry for the lack of posts!! I want to start out by saying HAPPY BIRTHDAY on June 6th to my Aunt Jill!! I hope it was great!!
I just finished my first summer course (much of the reason for the lack of posting was due to the end of course paper I was working on) with an 'A' and am down to TWO CLASSES!!! The one that starts Monday is my last Education course. It looks like it's going to be really rough. Booooooo.
On a positive note, I do have a couple of videos and few pics for your viewing enjoyment ;) Christian & Camden keep me laughing constantly. I think I told a few of you this story but the day after I had my root canals done I was feeling nauseous from the antibiotic I was on. Ok now that you know the background here's the convo:
Camden: "Maaaaaaaaaamaaaaaaaaaaaaa, my ho hursty! (so thirsty)"
Me: "Ok Camden hold on 'cause I feel like I'm going to throw up...."
Cam: "You better nooootttt!"
HAHA. Cam also tells me "Mama you ho 'weet" a lot! And they both tell me "You ho pwetty!" What sweet little angels.
Bubbles!! <---click for video
Christian SWIMS! <---- click for video
I took my "good" camera to the pool the other day with the intentions of getting some really good pictures. However, I did more swimming/playing than picture taking, so "ya get what ya get and ya don't throw a fit!" I suppose =)

Happy Birthday Hollie!!
I can remember this moment like it was yesterday!! (& I'm pretty sure I will always see Emmalie as this age!... & I want to go there again!) Thank you for being a (responsible) big sister to me for a lot of my growing up years. Some of the fun times I remember are coloring at your house (you always had your markers in that zip up bag-strange that I remember that?!), having sleepovers constantly, tumbling/cheerleading lessons and always a blizzard from DQ! We certainly had some FUN times!! I hope you have a wonderful day--I'm very thankful for you-- ♥ u! see you at lunch!! :)

Double Airplane....
Yesterday...
I went to the dentist knowing that I had one tooth that needed a crown on it that I had never gotten done awhile back. I did not realize that I would need that one crowned, plus two root canals and crowns all in one day. So, I was there from 10am until 6 pm!!! Partly because the assistant didn't have a clue and partly because I have funky shaped canals that were hard to get to. Anyway, I thought I would share with you the thoughts that went through my head while I was on the nitrous gas...
Assistant: Okay, MAYgan, I'm going to turn on your nitrous.
Me: Okay.
(What seems like 2 seconds later)..... I'm sitting under the big lamp, but at the time, it felt like the warmth of the sun. I laid there imagining myself on a beach chair soaking up the rays. The bone-chilling sound of the drill comes on, except in my little beach world, it was the sound of a cool bird singing ;) The dentist and assistant are cracking jokes back & forth, but I was so much in my own world that I never caught a single one. I do remember him saying "no kids, no husband, just in your own world." His was definitely right. Too bad all of this only went on for about an hour and then they turned off the nitrous so it wouldn't make me sick. After that, I had about 6 more hours of not being in my beach world, but rather in the stinkin' dentist chair. Boo. I need some of that gas at my house- man, I wouldn't care WHAT my kids did ;) haha, just a joke.
I have been sick all morning from antibiotics. Blah. I finally got smart about 30 minutes ago and ate real food (macaroni, not a popsicle) for the first time since Thursday night. I am feeling better at the moment :) Bet cha I'd feel even better with some of that gas ;) haha.
Moral of the story: 1. Never go 3 years without going to the dentist ever again. 2. Unless you want to go pretend you're on the pretty beach soaking up the sun ;)

HAHA....
Camden: “’Dat purpur Mama?” (that purple, Mama?)
Me: “No, that’s gray.”
Camden: “Oh, it gay.” ..... (gray)
Ride baby ride
Well, I rode for the first time today at Tyler State Park. I met Miss Cycling Olympian (Susan) out there and she was my tour guide. She told me what was coming up and what to expect, etc. THANK YOU WHODIN! I got new biking shorts

and a camelbak
(that thing was NICE today). We road over 10 miles on loops A,B,C,D today-- MAN, I wanted to cry by the last mile (which was pretty much totally uphill I might add). The sad part is, I think Susan could've done the whole thing again!! I passed a woman walking and she said, "Man, I would never ride with her!" 'Cause Susan is hard core!!
Big thank you to Nanno, too, for watching my babies while I went riding :)
On another note, here are another couple of quotes from my kiddos:
Camden, while cuddling up to me: "My are your 'nuggle burr." (snuggle bear)
Me: "Christian, if you don't stop screaming you are going to have to go to time-out."
Christian: "Mama you are making me ho, ho, ho HAD!" (so so so SAD)
Camden: "Well, Mama tell you 'top!" (told you to stop)
hahaha...every day is a new adventure and I love it :)
